Bowling

We had family visiting from Texas to celebrate a cousin's 40th birthday.

The party was held at cousin's favorite spot, the bowling alley.

Cupcake and her cousin "bowled" for almost two hours!

She even bowled a couple of strikes. It was a fun evening for all. Happy 40th, Cousin!

Future Artist

Cupcake has been trying to write letters and spell words. Most of the time, she asks what letters to use and she can write them on her own. She has memorized how to spell out MOM and DAD.

We thought it would be fun for her to enter something in our county fair. We narrowed her artwork down to these two favorite drawings.

Finally, we decided on the top one. The judge loved it!

More Summer Fun

I don't know why it took us so long to try out the car-cart at the grocery store. She LOVED it!

The truth about Poop. It is a fascinating read.

Cupcake loves to dress up. I found this prom dress at a garage sale, and altered it for a play dress. I shortened it, added all the ribbon, and took in the sides. I think it turned out pretty cute!

Miss Rodeo America was a special guest at story time.

Whoa Zuccinni! We waited a little too long to pick this guy. A gardener, I am not.

Mom's Birthday

These two worked together to make my favorite, confetti cake with rainbow chip frosting. Oh, and it was FOUR layers. So I'm 37 and feeling loved.

Ready for FUN?!!

Pi?

Maybe a stretch, but I am going to say she made a Pi.

ZOO!!

With Mr. Handsome's back-to-work date fast approaching, we worked hard to squeeze every last bit of fun out of our summer.

This zoo was a fabulous find! Many of the exhibits were interactive. You could pet kangaroos . . .

. . . ride the camel, feed tortoises, giraffes, birds, rabbits, and more.

The lemurs were our favorite. You weren't supposed to hold them, but this one jumped right up into Cupcake's arms to get the craisin she was holding.

Best zoo ever.
