Bed Maker

Our sweet girl is getting so good at cleaning up after herself. Just this weekend, she took her craft supplies out of the cabinet and set them up on the kitchen table. She colored and cut and decorated with stickers for a while, and then she packed it all up and put it away. We were thrilled!

Here she made her own bed. We couldn't be more proud.

Fall Party

Our church celebrated fall with a party in the park.

Her favorite part was the pony rides.

She could have done this all night. She looooved the horses!

Cupcake loves babies, and got to hang out with one of her favorite little guys, Baby S. He is almost not a baby anymore, by the way.

But the best part? The cupcake, of course.

Scenes from the Doll House

Sometimes I walk by Cupcake's doll house, and the scene inside just cracks me up.

Here, the entire family has been put to bed. They are sleeping quite comfortably, I would say.

And in the corner? The three wise men from her nativity set.

There is nothing like a good night's sleep while being watched by three Magi.

Diary Farm

The Hubs and I both grew up on farms. Since our little Cupcake is growing up in the "big city", we do our best to expose her to the life that we knew as kids.

We had a chance to visit a local dairy farm last weekend. Since Mr. Handsome grew up on a dairy himself, the sites and smells took him back to childhood.

There were fun activities for the kiddos.

And Grandma B got to come with us!

And, of course, there were the cows. And they were only a little scary.

Dance Party

Our dishwasher died, so we have been doing them by hand.

It isn't a bad job, when you crank the music and Cupcake provides the entertainment. :)

Cookies

The best part of making cookies is, without question, the licking of the beater.

It's sooooo good!

Shopping

This weekend, we had to shop for a few hours. Cupcake was bored, until . . .

She found a pretty girl in the mirror to smile at.

Saturday

Last weekend, Mr. Handsome and I ran a 5K. Running is the perfect way to start a weekend! I ran solo. The hubs pushed the stroller and still came in 3rd in his age group!

After the race we walked home, past this little "balance beam" that Cupcake loves so much. She usually asks for a hand, but today she did it all by herself.

Little Mama

Tucking in baby for bed, and one last bed time story. She is such a good little mama to her baby Darby!
